"Pilot" is the first episode of According to Jim. It aired on October 3, 2001.
Plot
Ruby is anxious on her first day of kindergarten so Cheryl stays with her. Jim accuses Cheryl of not having the emotional strength required to leave her but proves himself wrong when he too can't bear to go. However, Jim takes things to far and transfers Ruby to another school.
